Joseph “Joey” Devine

Director of Corporate Development

Joey serves as Kustom’s Director of Corporate Development where he spearheads the origination and execution of acquiring companies that align with Kustom’s strategic initiatives. Joey’s approach focuses on cultivating strong relationships with business owners, which enables an efficient transaction process that lays the foundation for a successful long-term partnership between Kustom and the seller.

Prior to joining Kustom, Joey held a variety of positions throughout Truist Bank’s Capital Markets, Corporate Finance, and Commercial Banking groups. During his tenure at Truist, Joey focused on leveraging Truist’s investment banking capabilities to provide capital solutions across a variety of industries for transformational events including growth capital initiatives, dividend recapitalizations, and financial sponsor transactions such as leveraged buyouts and tuck-in acquisitions.

Joey is a native of Orlando and received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Finance from the University of Florida. Joey also holds his Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation. In his free time, Joey enjoys traveling with his wife, spearfishing in the Bahamas, and playing pickleball. One of Joey’s personal goals is to watch the Florida Gators football team play in every SEC stadium.
