As Kustom’s Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), Angie brings more than 25 years of experience in human resources, most of it spent growing alongside fast-paced, operationally dispersed companies and supporting employees all over the country.

To Angie, HR is far more than a business function. It is a strategic partnership that builds people initiatives aligned with business objectives, and she believes in the power of leading an HR operation that is transformative in nature. She is equally convinced that people are an organization’s greatest asset, and that internal growth and development are essential to building a work environment where people can be their best every day and grow with the company.

Her career has been shaped by highly acquisitive organizations, giving her a practical understanding of how to integrate people, cultures, and ways of working so that growth feels like momentum, not disruption. Her background in accounting (B.S.) and in management and leadership (M.S.) brings a rare mix of financial fluency and people-first thinking. By clearly defining company-wide goals, values, and HR operations, and communicating them often, she helps a growing team move with vision and purpose.

Angie’s passion for watching people grow their careers helps build a culture of ownership in which people feel empowered to reach their full potential. In her view, individual growth drives bottom-line growth.

Angie champions authenticity and leads situationally, meeting each person where they are. Her approachable, human-first style takes the friction out of change, including acquisitions, replacing uncertainty with clarity, collaboration, and support. Proud of her Cuban heritage, Angie is the first generation in her family to live in this great country. That story gives her a deep appreciation for opportunity, and it grounds the way she leads. She brings humility and perspective to her work, and she never loses sight of the people behind the roles.

Away from the office, you’ll likely find Angie at the beach with a good book, working on a jigsaw puzzle, or spending time with her three children, her husband, and their two Goldendoodles.
