Matt Horwath

Chief Financial Officer

Matt Horwath serves as Chief Financial Officer of Kustom, where he leads the company’s financial strategy and performance, with a focus on disciplined growth, profitability, and strong cash flow generation.

Most recently, Matt served as Chief Financial Officer of FARO Technologies, Inc., a publicly traded company, through its merger with AMETEK, Inc. in July 2025. After stepping into the CFO role in January 2024, he helped strengthen FARO’s financial position by driving operational excellence and delivering significant improvements in profitability and operating cash flow generation, helping position the company for a successful acquisition.

Matt joined FARO in 2017 and held several leadership roles prior to becoming CFO, including leading FP&A, financial reporting, technical accounting, and tax. Earlier in his career, he worked in public accounting at Ernst & Young LLP and held corporate accounting roles at Winn-Dixie Stores, Inc.

Matt is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Florida. He holds a Master of Accountancy degree from the University of North Florida and a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from the University of Central Florida.
