Chief Financial Officer
Leo Koo joins Kustom US as the Chief Financial Officer, bringing over 14 years of middle-market M&A transaction experience in over 20 deals amounting to over $375 million in closed acquisitions, capital financings, equity raises, notes offering and joint ventures. Prior to joining Kustom US, Leo was the former Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President and Treasurer of Restore POC, appointed by the Investment Committee of the Company’s majority owner. Prior to Restore POC, Leo was a Principal with Penta Mezzanine Fund, a mezzanine fund focused on growth capital financings where he led investments in a variety of industry sectors including business services, real estate, apparel, midstream oil & gas services, vitamins and nutritional supplements and healthcare. He was responsible for all key aspects of the investment process including sourcing, transaction execution, and portfolio company oversight. Prior to Penta, he served as a Vice President for Comvest Partners, a $3.4 billion private equity firm, where he led business development efforts for the firm’s equity and growth lending funds. He started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he managed audit engagements for various public and private companies. Leo received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of South Florida and is an active Certified Public Accountant in Florida.
Leo grew up in Argentina, enjoys outdoor activities and is a NAUI certified rescue scuba diver and NAUI skin-diving instructor.
