In 2016, Andrew Zavodney, Jr. made the decision to establish an independent Board of Directors. With Andrew Zavodney Jr. as the Chairman, the Board consists of three other independent members. The Board meets quarterly, with an unwavering focus to ensure the long-term fiduciary interests of all shareholders are met and that company resources are ethically used. All Board actions require a majority vote. ​

Andrew Zavodney

As a driving force behind one of the nation’s most well-respected, full-service property restoration and remediation companies, Andrew Zavodney leads the way forward at Kustom US. His strategic vision for Kustom US focuses on redefining client service, fostering innovation with the latest technology, and stimulating strategic growth. Always one to embrace change, Andy establishes Kustom US as an industry leader, thriving at the forefront by offering sought-after services across multiple new markets nationwide.

Andy originally joined Kustom US in 1990 and progressed through a number of significant management assignments, including geographic growth with expansion into new market segments, prior to becoming the third President and Chief Executive Officer of Kustom US in September 2000.

Richard Weidrick

Richard is a Managing Partner at Weidrick, Livesay & Company where he consults frequently on business valuation, financing, and acquisitions. Richard also owns Summit Wealth Management, LLC, which operates as a wealth management advisor. In addition to having over 30 years of accounting, tax, and banking experience, Richard is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Laura Zavodney

Laura is the Corporate Secretary of Kustom in addition to serving on the Board of Directors. Prior to joining Kustom in 2015, Laura served as Vice President of Marketing for Diversified Global Holdings. In that role, she was responsible for corporate development in Western Europe and Russia. Laura holds a degree in Management and Business Administration from Vilnius University in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Cindy Babitt

Cindy is a Partner at Cyprium Partners, a private equity fund located in Cleveland, Ohio that provides non-control capital and strategic guidance to middle market business owners and management teams. Cindy has spent the last 25 years with Cyprium and is involved in all aspects of Cyprium’s investment activities including identifying, structuring, and executing transactions, is involved in the operations of the firm and is also a member of the Investment Committee. In addition to Cindy’s work at Cyprium, she is a member of the Finance Committee and Financial Aid Committee for Julie Billiart School, a K – 8 school focused on teaching kids with mild to moderate autism, ADHD, anxiety, dyslexia, and various other learning differences. Cindy received her MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University and her BS in biology from the University of Miami.

Bill Emory

Bill is a highly accomplished business leader with an extensive background across diverse industries. As the former CEO of Smart Care Equipment Solutions, the nation’s largest provider of commercial kitchen repair and maintenance services, Bill’s strategic acumen and leadership led to a doubling of sales and a 4x increase in profitability. This impressive growth was fueled by a combination of consistent above-market organic growth and the successful integration of 14 acquisitions, showcasing his ability to drive results through well-executed initiatives.

Before joining Smart Care, Bill held pivotal roles at Ecolab, overseeing high-growth service businesses in the US and Europe. His journey began with a BA degree in Economics and Political Science from Ripon College, followed by distinguished marketing roles at renowned brands like Kellogg’s, Heinz, and Pillsbury.

Moreover, he has exhibited a strong commitment to corporate social responsibility by launching the “Community Cares” program at Smart Care, which provides free repair services to Community Kitchens nationwide.

Outside of the business sphere, Bill cherishes quality time with his wife and three children, engaging in leisure activities such as skiing, hiking, and sailing vacations.
